I am just going to say that I find religion class to be extremely intriguing. Not necessarily because of what we're learning, but because of people's reaction to it.

Yes! Because I'm actually attending a Catholic university, we have to take 2 religion courses in order to graduate. I'm taking both of mine over the summer. :-D The first one is Third World Religious Views. It's only 8 classes, 4 hours each. I'll be done with an entire course by the end of May. :-D

The other one I'm taking is Religion and Film. That'll take pretty much the month of June. And by the end of that, I'll have both of my religion requirements taken care of. Woo!

Ooh, those classes sound interesting. I loved studying History of Religion. It gave me so much insight into/ understanding of other cultures and ways of thinking.

The more we get into it, the more it seems to be the study of Christianity from a minority point of view (such as the Igbo people in Nigeria, which is going to be our main focus). It's still interesting so far though. Right now we're reading a book called "Jesus before Christianity", where we're focusing on the *historical* as opposed to religious Jesus. Still, pretty interesting so far.
