American bikes = made of fail? *g* But seriously, how is that possible? YOU'RE NOT FAT! And I see people who actually are fat ride bikes all the time. So bzuh?

*hugs* Thanks, darling. We figured that the model of bike we were trying to get had faulty tires. We went to a different store and got a different bike, and so far so good. I wrote a rambly entry about it, but I'm feeling much better today. ♥
